Frill of Subjectivity

by Alice   Jan 4, 2018

I’ll easily call a puppy a wolf.
Pain to me is that slight rash
or buzzing thing;
to the rest it matters not.
You see,
I am quite alright;
and you see that I say
‘quite’
for ‘alright’ is a mere mystery-
a frill of subjectivity.
So no,
doctor,
I cannot tell you where I quake
as I know not what these words make.
