Whats in a kiss

by Michael   Mar 25, 2018

kisses-
that fluttered
upon the curvature of my ear;
like little butterflies released from a chrysalis-
igniting follicles;
that blossomed-
tiny stems of tingles;
that flitted a sensation all the
way down my back.

kisses-
that would garnish my lips-
cocoa butter would melt;
sealing the flavour of your sensuality
upon my taste buds
all day long

kisses-
we once pressed into our palms,
and exchange;
by softly blowing them-
watching as they floated
like messages of love;
camouflaged by the invisible air
that only we could see.

kisses.
that sadly wavered a farewell
leaving my hands empty;
with my lips now a moisture
of memories.

and my heart,
plunged-
full of wilted
wings.
