~Snoring~

still, I lie awake, listening
not sleeping anymore
options, please:
roaring sounds need
Intervention
1. nudge her gently
2. gag her with my pillow

Option 2

~Snoring~

sometimes I wonder

not knowing what to do

open up a divorce, or

rent another room

instead, I hold this pillow

next to her open mouth, and plunging. . .

gag, the irritating growwwl

    I've had option 1 tried on me, didn't work
    A good solid wallop did work (but then I could not sleep)
    So option 2 was not needed.

    I'd still go for option 1

    I had trouble sleeping last night. My only inspiration was nighttime breaths.
