Sickened Thunder

by Alice   May 26, 2018

Be this then a deed without a name,
and eclipse me in pitying clouds of shame
that pour down now in secret ruin-acts
to make me doubt and shake from hedon tax.
Yet I can never quiver so urgently
to make gushing and emergency,
so I’ll live on in sickened thunder,
and let the process snaffle plunder.
