Sunshine In A Bottle:(2)

by Scott Cole   Oct 22, 2018

It's all we've been given
From The Maker up above,
A heart-shaped container
To hold all our love.

It's lined with kindness
Stitched with great care,
To protect it's cargo
From any wear and tear.

It's wrapped in muscle
To keep it stronge,
So that our gift
Can keep keeping on.

It has a learning curve
Yet built for the hike,
So once you've mastered it
It's like riding a bike.

It has a tick tock
To keep itself warm,
So all of it's contents
Can warmly perform.

It reflects our Soul
Is who we are,
So use it wisely
To minus the scars.

It's patient and true
Rolled into one,
Keeps no false records
Others have done.

It's self-healing
If should fall apart,
For it was designed
State of the art.

It lives in darkness
Never seen the light,
But knows the difference
From wrong or right.

It reaps what it sows
Deserves what it gets,
If your iresponible
And don't use your wits.

It speaks it's mind
But it takes practice
Not a special degree.

For each precious heart
Has but one setup,
To love one another
By lifting each other up.

Like sunshine in a bottle
That magically appeals,
Or a sprinkle of love
That miraculously heals.
