O little Orphan

by ddavidd   Dec 21, 2018

O little Orphan boy, little orphan boy
you do not need to hide your fear anymore.
These phantoms that stage as friends, patrons, people,
are no more.
They never existed as anything but stop signs.

Now your chest
are not trapped in the congested air,
the recurring nightmare
of banality…

Now you are free at last.
Now you do not need to help
those who do not know the extent of their freedoms
are the lengths of their chains,
curling and vining like corrosion
on the mirror of their eyes, their visions,
their believes,
their norms…

How could they be fair
something that they don't even know.
They are clueless about justice, they are bias
though they rule, they judge, they moderate.

O little Orphan boy, little orphan boy
you are dead now.
No one could get you no more,
there are no use to frame you, ignore your rights, your words,
now your nothingness is such clarity
that could not be opaque
or reached by any stains of substance

Now amidst these jagged fangs
you’ve reached the quintessence of fair
unsubstantiated,
THE form,
the shape beyond reason,
the shape that has no choice but emerging through the graphite
of every word, every ink, every poetry
even if his own is ignored.

It's kinda hard to read this one. Although it's excellently and articulately written.

I have two children who are adopted. Neither of which deserved to be so, nor does any child!

Their innocence was stripped from them at such a young age. It's hard at times to know exactly how they feel, or how they even felt back in that day. Hence 13 years on since starting the adoption process I am still learning.

I am in some ways still learning about them and in many ways learning about me as a result.

Sometimes as a child I wish I was such as them.

All I can say at this time, is I love them both as if they were my own blood and I would die for them.

    Regards and respect

Two adapted children, so many pets!! You are a really kind man. There are so many things raw, simple, straight forward and unadulterated about you and your passions.
Thanks for taking time to read my works.
Also for nomination. I am humbled and grateful.
