Of Myths and Men

by Aegis   Jan 7, 2019

I thought you were my feeble
knees;

twisted and bowed like the gnarled
sinews of ancient redwoods.

But as it turns out, Achilles
has a twin-

and my Darlings,

I wish you would
have dug your heels
in long ago.

Maybe then our blackened roots
wouldn't have faltered
beneath us.

      Oh I'm so incredibly happy you guys enjoy this! I'm under an immense amount of stress and my depression and self sabotaging tendencies really wrecked me and rang in the New Year. I've been trying so hard to create something instead of destroying it. Much love to you both:)
