Skin made of peel

by Eve   Feb 12, 2019

But my wound is stubborn
And it doesn't want to be healed
It stays open and inside you can see the dance of the sweetest fruits
With wine and summers as their allies
My fruits deceive me
2 red roses in my office
And their thorns inside of me
I managed to open my heart
But then it had to close
The zipper quickly, so i won't get a cold
And now, I've forgotten how to open it again
Now it seems even more impossible than it seemed before
I ate the clouds so I could fly
But I ended up having rain inside of me
My fruits deceive me
We are not rotten yet, they tell me
Like I'm not able to see, to understand
That i have a skin made of peel
And a heart made of jelly

Lovely Eve, btw, did we ever meet in a Garden? Seriously, I love the lines Like; 2 red roses in my office
And their thorns inside of me, That i have a skin made of peel
And a heart made of jelly. The humor is well placed, like the skin of an alligator compared to a pig's belly.

Like a Harribo strawberry heart it will squash if you squeeze it. Allowing someone in past the 'zipper' to start Squeezing is a risk. Will they kiss or bite?
