Art is not perfect

by Dagmar Wilson   May 7, 2019

When colors don't blend well
designs are incorrect
art is not perfect.
Each eye has a vision of its own.

Trees are constantly growing
certain flowers last one season,
clouds are not shaped round.

We all see different things, colours especially. A beautiful piece.

I do Dag, like this short yet deep poem. My wife paints, has many times, problems blending colors, at times, I see her make it beautiful, by her own style. I love our God given laws of Nature, a natural Mom, if you please, clothing the trees with leaves, and, turning them into the most beautiful Autumn colors in their dying. Clouds do their own thing, they can be fluffy, and, mild, exciting the little child, they can be dark and gray, threatening to ruin a sunny picnic day!
Good work, Added to my Favorites. Much love, Ken

Perfection is always in the eye of the beholder and nature is beautiful because of its imperfections. A lovely reminder. Hugs Milly x

I like what you're saying here. Perfection, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perfect is more imperfect than we think. Personally, I like my clouds fluffy. Xx
