Finger Tips (revamped)

by Rhinehalt   Feb 16, 2019

Finger tips that dance over paper so divine.
That write the words of love and passion.
They put the notes to death and pain.
They write away the hurt of day.

Twisting pen with the fragments of the mind,
Come to life with the winding motions of black ink.

Type or write. Keyboard or paper.
The words come together,
In an age old dance of mind and letters.

They write the verses of our souls.
They sing the lyrics of our minds.
Paper and fingers, amazing they are.

To touch the spirit is to live.
To remember it all
And share it with any,
Is the wonder the touch to paper
With finger tips so free to fly away with the script.

Thank you. It's a revamp cause of the first time I wrote it, the grammar and rhythm of the poem was bad. But the words I still loved. I had to bring it back to life.
