Her arrival (Rondeau)

by Michael   Apr 2, 2019

As spring arrives, from natures womb
her season brings, a baby-boom.
The brittle arms of trees, stretch out
awaiting buds, from winters drought.
Her summer love begins to loom.

Her morning zest, weens out the gloom
and birds hatch out a soulful tune.
Her sun-kissed roots, begin to sprout
and seeds of hues will spread throughout
as spring arrives...

she’ll warm the nights, beneath the moon
where hearts of love, will swarm and swoon.
Her air of charm does bring about,
a sense of joy, from inside-out
and rosy cheeks will start to bloom
as spring arrives...
