You were what made me feel whole
And now I feel nothing.
I am breaking
Under the weight
Of your decision.
I can’t believe
It’s actually over
After all this time
We spent together.
It hurts more
Than anything I’ve ever felt
Because I cared so much
About you.
I am hurting
More than ever
Right now
And I am not
Okay
By any means.
I wish
Things were different
And you still cared
Like you once did.
Somehow I have to move on
But I don’t know how to
In this state.
Things were supposed to work
But you decided not to
I miss you.

    A bleak, eye-opening realization post break-up, it's always hard to come to terms with it but slowly we do. It might be excruciating but it can be done, there's always hope :)
