Entirely

by Anne Moore   Oct 1, 2019

Her heart was once whole
But now it is broken
Create giant cracks
In the Earth with
The words she left unspoken

The words tore on her heart
Pleading to be said
Water freezes upon the surface
Cracking the earth
Turning it dead

Now look at all the corpse's
Not bodies but all the things
She kept inside
Never to be heard,
Never to be seen...

It broke her down entirely

(My cousin helped me writ the last stanza)

Holding everything in isn’t healthy, and the way you described those hard conditions of freezing and cracking is beautifully sad. I love this :)
