tears stain hollow cheeks
lips sealed
words left unspoken

light burned out
expressionless
eyes dulled by pain

chest tied in a knot
palpitations
heart broken in pieces

feeling confused, defeated
questioning
my own self worth

you left me with
dangling emotions
unworthy of love
