Infinite Gardens

by ddavidd   Apr 11, 2020

Is it about my bookshelf
or is it about the depth behind all those books on them:
some titles, with their cove painted in coloures
like in flowers?

So many petals
So many blooms are conflagrating the flower yard of these shelves.
Who knows how many pages are hidden in a book
written by gardens,
or how many petals would be efflorescing
out of these very blooms!
how could really anyone add or multiply infinities?

Everything is like pages after pages
lines after lines, … valium after valiums
all hidden in colored foil
of a book in my bookshelf
in a hue in this flower garden,
no matter how deep
they always stand tall
fluctuate, yet at a standstill.
as a stem of flower, as a book
but when you take them out and open them
there are always
infinite amount of gardens
in every one of them.

Too bad the flowers wither, and with them, their wisdom withers, but the books, the books can last long depending on how well the book is treated. Just sharing a thought that popped into my mind as I finished reading. Thanks for sharing.
