You know love's a funny thing
With what it does to you
It can make you feel so good
And then also make you blue

What I don't understand
When love's no longer found
Why do we always want
for that person to stay around?

But shouldn't we just leave?
What possibly could we want
With someone who deceives?

Yes of course they will be missed
This will happen either way
