years

The deeper aspects of life
They twine and
entwine growing rich
weaving sorrow and joy.
We watched eternity, never knowing if it would end but at the end the heart song came unstrung. Desperate breaths disbelieving the loss. Dig deep into the soul, hang upon that which we served highest.
- How we loved! -
Mired in unmovable positions that didn't serve, diming the light of love, pulling into the dark that which should have soared. Outside the orbit
- Not knowing if love is strong enough
Not knowing if forgiveness is enough -

Particularly liked this line..."We watched eternity, never knowing if it would end." It made me think about how isn't eternity supposed to be endless? It seems that way when we love someone, that it will be forever, but I think there's always that small thought in the back of the mind that maybe... It won't be.

This is so full of wonderful language; it is really well written throughout. Expertly done, truly.
