Stars' Distance

by BOB GALLO   Jun 17, 2020

to Kaveh and the stars of his eyes.

It was a Sunday sunny afternoon.
Mother was in the abyss of livelihood
father with the daughter and son were rolling and playing on the bed
but the grill was much more searing between the girl and the father
so
the boy tried harder
though
instead of warm inclusion
he got exiled behind the doors.

The boy felt cold, in the midst of summer
he started to shiver.
Since then
the winter has never ended for him.
~~

When they grow up,
the girl was the victim for everyone
and the boy was somehow a predator
for he was the son.

Tears frosted to inward icicles
Winter has hinged in his eyes
in dept
of the stars' distance.
