Poets

Don John: " Only poets beside warriors get the glimpse of unknown, but unfortunately unlike warriors they get absorbed by the object, not the subject, of their observation"
::

Poets are like goats
they must show off in dazzle
from the picks of their observations.

Warriors are like ships
humble with whatever proportion
of their gifts, their pains
amongst others
shunning recognition.

    This is extremely creative writing. You had me at 'poets are like goats'. Not a simile I was expecting!

      Thanks. I like your style of what I call pure poetry, and your occasional constructive criticism. They are honest, necessary for our survival as the species of poetry.
