You are so creative, Luce! I loved this unexpected write, and the image of it, that we've all been that rock sometimes. It makes me think of when we are trying to just go through life and be ourselves, then come to the realization we are hurting someone, or our actions or beliefs or causing others pain. Subconsciously even. Or maybe this could also be a reflection on everyone going through the motions in life, and knowing that, even if we are true to ourselves, some people will want to spit us out, some people will not accept that we are "different".
