Cauldrons

by Cantchangeme   Oct 8, 2020

A spirit in darkness brightly shone
It’s gentle kindness given
As darkened forms approach thy door
All good Godliness shriven

It boils and broils the seas oily depths
As deep as depths of heart
As Maelstrom drowns the sailors cry
Must also tear our love apart

In the cauldrons of our uneasy minds
May we hope the spell is cast
And may the lovers upon this uneasy tide
Find their dead calm at last
