Her Continuous Extinction

by Star   Oct 26, 2020

Catered emotions
cascade
into a clean canvas,
while she
tries to paint
herself the perfect
portrait

under a
melancholy Moon
that contained
his light.

Phantoms float freely
seeking shadows
that shed darkness
to show off
their hidden sheen,

among their
crowd,

she shares
sips of cold water
with passing by
strangers.

She sisters
dim stars,
and befriends
languid
loneliness.

She’s
just
a
homeless
soul
in
Utopia.
