In Timely Fashion:

by Scott Cole   Dec 12, 2020

Aging time that I'm blind to see
But still I must keep up with thee,
For though I'm free as a restless bird
You cage me with your whistled words.

For a second not do you dare stall
Because your tik toks always crawl,
So pressing time do show your face
For you're harder to spot in openspace.

Memories layed in black and white
All synchronized clear out of sight,
Cause footprints fade with passing sands
As you walk with us across this land.

Spinning trails of wayward wise
You can't hold back that what flies,
Yet what does pass shall also be
And all that comes will shortly flee.
