Your Season of Madness

by Star   May 10, 2021

Fall called your name,
yet you yearned for the summer
and I had no where to go
but to wait within your shadow.

And when clouds take it away,
they take me too and for a little
while that's my relief.

But summer skies are parched
from clouds, there’s no shelter
in you that would keep me safe.
