The Road

by Sherry Caayupan   Aug 17, 2021

The road to an endless path,
Heads forth to relish good fortune;
Of gold and streaming silver path,
Paved of gold chain and silver ball hues;

A relentless grasp of sweet success,
Found in the wishing well of fortune;
Bears forth a million granted wishes,
As I relish the taste of gold new;

A pathwalk towards bearing all good,
Everything that gold gives;
Is a thing so good and so true,
In my hands where gold forever shall live;

Silver and gold shall make up my worthy life,
To hold them in my arms is to hold forever;
A neverending taste of fortune's sweetness delights,
I'd last more than a thousand forever life with gold ever;

More than the twelfth of never,
Will I relish fortune with my love;
A relishing of endless affection and of gold and silver,
Blessings of forever fortune poured more forth vested from above;

Blessings rain on my pavement,
As I walk to the path of every success;
In a world abounding of plenty merriment,
I'd walk forever in the road to happiness.
