The Gap

I stood up against unjust
-not how a sitting man does.-
I stood up
like swans hoisting their necks,
like the three dimensional expand of dominoes
in seedlings
towards blossom of sunshine
in their flesh again,

like the snake-dance of sprouts
rising through the skeleton of stones
with their ingrained flutes tune
from the basket of a grains,

like the urges of pollination in the veins of mating seasons,
like the promises of tomorrow in the eyes of stars,
like the smell of jasmines under the skin of whiteness,
like the melt of chocolate
in the warm saliva between two lips,
like a stem crawling amidst its thorns,
ladders, climbing those thorns,

like the caterpillars' metamorphosis
to recapitulate
the petals of their wings,

like a hero in front of fire squad,
like the infants' visceral search within their urges,
to defeat a hopeless imposition
by surmounting the impossible task of standing on their feet,
filling the millions of years gap
between hominids
and
monkeys.
