H. Elizabeth

A flower petal princess,
adrift in the current.
The light fragrance of her wild beauty
I can sense so many miles away.

She drifts in love,
out of love,
in love,

so colorful,
just out of reach from my grasp.

So I shake the cherry blossom tree
to join you
up there,

where what we find it is empty air.

This air seems thin to me…
it’s kinda hard to breathe.

Do you agree?

Hey, at least we are still gorgeous,
and we are up here together.

Breezing along silently.

(Hi Hannah. Let’s see how long it takes for you to find this, as we both go months and years between posting.)
