contemporary solace

the acid drips off her fingertips,
she savors fire,
chemicals
and
drops of madness.

~collateral damage~

self destruction

she fell in love
with her lonely self

    Hello,

I love the title, it's fab'!

The imagery at the start really pulled me in, the thought of danger being exciting /satisfying. Then in the middle/centre, there's a cost, a price to pay for playing with danger. Sabotaging the self sounds hard, but if the payoff is finding peace/love for a vulnerable element of self, perhaps, that is enough - No, that is enough!

The layout is pleasing, using line spacing effectively to allow the reader to absorb the impact of the words/ideas and images.

    Thanks for sharing.
