Perspective

I know our love is not perfect
If such a thing exists
Everyone has breaking points
And will face conflicts

But since we learnt not to dwell
And no longer hold a grudge
There's nothing left to forgive
When neither of us judge

Time has such a soothing touch
When both of us are prone
But settles when we walk away
So we could be alone

Realising when we're there
There's more than just one side
To try and see each point of view
Before we will collide

Often when we both walk back
With white flags for our smiles
In calmer voices we agree
Avoiding all the trials

As love should never be a score
Or looking for a win
And when you think you're always right
It's bound to wearing thin

Harsh decisions will be made
From when two people fight
So often it will come down to
That there's no wrong or right
