Sometimes frustration
Is hard to ignore
Facing the same problems
You once had before

Why's it recurring?
This won't go away
You can't face it right now
And so you delay

Sometimes bad luck
Will follow behind
When you try to outrun
But are declined

Another situation
You find yourself in
When you are pulled back
Again to begin

Sometimes those close
You thought you could depend
Will hurt you in a way
That will never mend

You're forced to forgive
Rather than walk out
And pretend you're ok
But always have doubt

Sometimes we question
Why life seems unfair
When facing these problems
Which you can't repair

When the only solution
Is just to accept
And not lifting the rug
Where once they were swept

Sometimes depression
Is easy to tempt
But we must not forget
That no ones exempt

Searching for happiness
Will only be found
If you don't expect it
Thinking it's bound

Instead being optimistic
As long as it takes
And not dwell on life's problems
But learn from mistakes
