New washing machine

by mistake   Jun 30, 2023

Wash me of my sins,
Clammy proofs I existed today.

Wash me of my stains,
The ones that proved I went out to play.

Wash me of my dullness,
Revitalize the colours that now seem gray.

Wash me of my laziness,
The dirt marks showing how I lay.

Wash me of my loneliness,
Please don’t make my appearance fray.

Wash me of my ignorance,
I wish you could also erase dumb things I say.

Wash me of my doubt,
Teach my once more how i can pray…

Bing! bing! bing!

Great, washings done! Now just to hang it u… oh that blood didn’t wash out……
