High Noon

by Eros   Aug 11, 2023

Endless talks in early night -
With whomever, doesn't matter,
Mother or a friend will do -
Regardless, always makes me want to remind you
How much I'm charmed
Hoping you're delighted, too
And that it's true
That early evening talks
Aren't something I'm used to,
Unlike the late ones that go through
All night long till the sky gets blue

Blue as the waves in your eyes
Waves I dive into
Tides rarely surfed
Too deep, too far from a safe coast
Not as seldom, though
As early night talks that goes through
All morning long until high noon
Where, if you adventure carefully,
You can find a moon

Is it yet too soon
To talk of honeymoon?
