Please don't waste my time with apologies

Words used attempting to manipulate me
Into thinking things won't be the same

But you've wasted enough of my time
Repeating the same cycle like clockwork

Countless chances thrown out like trash
because you knew that I'd always be there

foolishly waiting for you to finally to pick me
after i finished picking up all the pieces you left behind

Without any regard for my feelings at all
Leaving a new scar each time you left me

I walked on eggshells to comfort you
While you didn't even hesitate to hurt me

You tried to teach me that i deserved it all
instead you taught me i was better off without you

So please don't act like you miss me
I know it isn't me that you miss

you never actually wanted me
You just wanted someone to tear apart

I'm done putting myself together
Maybe you should look at yourself
