and for a moment understanding
breached the broken barrier
that held delusion in its thrall…

Pursuit of comprehension then recalled.

Too much to ask that interlude
would last, transcend the chaos
trapping mind once sharp and bright
within its cloying frame…

Pursuit of sanity again unclaimed
