Torn between myself

by Mild insomnia   Jul 29, 2004

This may not be,
What I want,
Though it may seem,
It’s just what I asked for.
I try to hide,
What I cannot show you,
I haven’t lied,
I’m just avoiding the truth…

Torn between myself,
I can’t choose, can’t loose,
This is hell,
Got no choice, no voice,
What am I supposed to do?
I’m being crushed by my decisions,
Restricted, with supervisions,
(Those around me and myself,
Torn between myself.)

My head says I,
Should listen to my conscience,
My heart can’t lie,
It beckons me further.
But, my soul,
Tells me this ain’t right,
And now, I don’t know,
How to live my life.
(Broken inside)

Torn between myself,
I can’t choose, can’t loose,
This is hell,
Got no choice, no voice,
What am I supposed to do?
I’m being crushed by my decisions,
Restricted, with supervisions,
(Those around me and myself,
Torn between myself.)

I’m being crushed by my decisions,
Suffocated, you bear witness, (torn between myself)
Restricted with supervisions,
Choked in this eternal darkness… (torn between myself!)

Torn between myself,
I can’t choose, can’t loose,
This is hell,
Got no choice, no voice,
What am I supposed to do?
I’m being crushed by my decisions,
Restricted, with supervisions,
(Those around me and myself,)
Torn between myself.
Torn between myself.
Torn between myself.
