Looking in eyes.

by Amanda   Aug 4, 2004

When you look into someones eyes
You can tell all their lives lies
You can see who they are
What they do
She's the little girl who got beaten too.
He's the little boy who does drugs
Because He has no way out
She's the teenager with a lot
of self doubt
He's the son of a man in prison
He's the boy who's mother just lost her vision
She has a month to live.
She's the one who always gives
He's the one trying to make life better.
He's the one writing a letter.
It's to his wife, fighting in Iraq.
She's the little girl, who was unfortunate, and lived life in a shack.
He was a bum on the side of the road.
She's the girl who's angry because her boyfriend never showed.

She has her eyes closed, because she's afraid to open them.
He just got married, and is having a baby boy.
She is happy too, but just doesn't show her joy.

If you look down deep
you can reach their soul.
You can fill the gap, and fill the hole.

Encourage someone
look them in the eye
It's a friendly hello
and a sweet good bye.
