I Will Not Forget

I never said I love you,
I just thought you knew.
Now I say I miss you,
And my love was always true.

But your not here, to hear it,
I guess I spoke to late.
You're in my heart, and spirit,
So heaven has to wait.

Three words I should've said,
To show how much I cared.
Now I lie in bed,
Thinking of the love not shared.

Sitting at your grave,
In hopes that you'll forgive.
All your memories I have saved,
So I will not forget.

My love will last forever,
And it will never quit.
In my dreams I'll see you,
So I will not forget.
