Do you ever think of dying?

Do you ever think about dying
or does it never cross your mind
I think about it all the time
and how I want life to rewind

I wish I never did some things
that I did in the past
but now I know I have the future
and now to make it last

I regret some things I always do
I don't know how to control
so I try to be nice and make up for it, and down the hill we roll.

I am always mean to my siblings
I have no reason to
I love my siblings very much
But there's always something I wouldn't do.

I need to live life everyday
and take count for how I act
I need to respect and be nice to others, it seems like this is what I lack.

I never listen to what the bible says
and I still expect to go to heaven
I never listen to what my parents say
even being home before eleven

But, I need to take responsibility
because I do not wish to die
I want to live to see my family
to look a new person in the eye

Have you ever wondered if today would be your very last
well, live like it is, so you could help and make up for your past

See, I am not scared to die
but scared for who I am
scared for who I make cry
and scared to die
knowing this is how I lived life
not caring for anyone other
and not listening to my mother

Don't ever say things you don't mean
because one day you will die
and you won't be there to hold the person that you may very well have made cry.

Live life loving others
and everything you do
don't complain about what you don't have because there are others who need it more than you

I hope you learned a lesson
to live each day like it's your last
and be loving towards everyone
so life won't fade away so fast
I hope you learned that life
is a very serious thing
it's an advantage, and privilege
for everything it brings.
Don't think you won't die
and that you'll live forever
because one day you will
don't ever think never.
Appreciate the joys in life
and take the long way down
you'll find you won't be in a strife
and peaceful with the sound

Take advantage of your life
and every chance you get
because maybe you won't be here
and you'll be in that pit.
