MindSet Prison

by Jessie BSC   Aug 15, 2004

The mind,
like a single set of bars to imprison your heavy thoughts,
to cover up the lost memories to others,
to keep secrets even from yourself.

A prison to lock up tight your inner being,
to hide away your lifes shame.
A place you yourself can never escape,
like a single thread that can not be cut easily with dull scissors.

The bitterness that you whole heartedly wish to release,
bunched into the membrane of the threaded fibers of life.
The sickened feeling bottled tightly,
in your mindset prison.

A single breath to the new fresh air,
yet the adversity of time remarks saddened words.
Like a shed of tear sharing a secret of your pain,
that echoes through your ears continuesly.

Screaming fully as loud as you can,
but no one is there to hear it.
Fighting the bars with furious actions,
but only in your mindset prison.
