Your Sacrifice

by Jessie BSC   Aug 15, 2004

The eyes that see life,
the soul that plunders,
the strength of a fist pounding down upon y our will,
and yet you sit strong.

You sit bold upon a rock surrounded by fire,
and yet you keep your mind frozen.
Cool, and sharp to the shallow weapons that strike,
to middle boundaries that you try to put in a keepsake place.

Opening your arms to a brighter future,
and yet the sword strikes down once again.
Bleeding eternally as if that such pain will not fade,
but you remain open for all world to see your sacrifice.

Again the sword strikes upon your inner strength,
breaking down into ash that will be blown away.
Holding onto such with a golden aura,
wrapped up safe and warm in your heart.

With a final blow the sword strikes again,
crackiling through your wall, falling to the ground with tears.
Staring upon the sword with remorse as your sit upon your knees,
still your arms are wide open,
and yet you sit strong and show the world your sacrifice.
