Dying Breathes.

by Daphne Darling   Aug 20, 2004

Dying Breaths.

Putting this gun to my head,
Is this what's going to end it all,
A bullet to my brain to show all the pain,
Is this the only escape left to me?

In pain I wonder,
Why didn't you all,
Just shoot me as,
I came into this,
God damned hurtful world,

As the pills sink through my gut,
The world is passing me by in a blur,
The lines written in red ink sinking,
Will you be there with me as I die?

In pain I wonder,
Why didn't you all,
Just shoot me as,
I came into this,
God damned hurtful world,

The blood tears running from my wrist,
No place for me to turn to now,
The blood won't stop its curse down,
The world has its blind eye turned to me,

In pain I wonder,
Why didn't you all,
Just shoot me as,
I came into this,
God damned hurtful world,

The noose around my neck is tightening,
As my neck is not broken, I am choking,
With my last breathes my wishes gone,
I just wish the world cared enough for me,

In pain I wonder,
Why didn't you all,
Just shoot me as,
I came into this,
God damned hurtful world,

A mess of coloured letters and notes,
Do you think it makes me feel better,
To know there are so many ways to die,
So you think its pride that turns me to the blade?

My pride had fallen,
My care has flown,
My eyes are downcast,
My heart is running fast,
Take away your hateful glare,
It's not my fault I hurt,

My joy is shallow,
My hurt is greater,
My wrists are bloodied,
My mind is gone to shame,
You've pushed me over,
Now shall I fall hard?

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!

In pain I wonder,
Why didn't you all,
Just shoot me as,
I came into this,
God damned hurtful world.
