Just friends

by Mild insomnia   Aug 27, 2004

What happened to…
The times when you,
Would stay up late and talk to me.
Why did it change?
Liked it that way,
Now you would rather sleep.

I’m not complaining, cos it’s your life,
I can’t explain it, but I.

Just want to be friends,
This is where the love ends.
Sorry, but, when I’m giving more than I get,
I just can’t help but feel that I,
Want to be friends, just friends.

Don’t wanna work it out,
I know what you’re about,
And even if fixed, I know it would brake.
I know it will be tough,
And hard to give it up,
But there’s only so much I can take.

I don’t wanna change the way you are,
Don’t wanna tear you apart…

Looks like commitment got to us,
We were both getting so bored.

Just want to be friends,
This is where the love ends.
Sorry, but, when I’m giving more than I get,
I just can’t help but feel that I,
Want to be friends, just friends.
