Oh to kick a brick wall

by Mild insomnia   Sep 2, 2004

I wish I could let myself go,
Shout and scream and cry,
But I've been taught to hold my tongue,
A silent suicide.

You think it's for attention,
If I answer back,
A word from me in retaliation,
"Hello kettle? It's emma, you're black."

Oh to kick a brick wall,
Show how I feel inside,
Let it out, I can't take it all,
You can't say I haven't tried.
