Sometimes

by Emily Strickland   Sep 4, 2004

Sometimes I Still Wish
I Could Just Fade Away
Melting Into Your Arms
Is Forever Where I'd Stay

I'll Retrace My Footsteps
Back Into Your Heart
Recovering The Feelings
We Both Had At The Start

I'll Think Of You Each Day
And Dream Of You Each Night
Wishing I Could Be There
Holding Onto You So Tight

Letting All My Emotions Flow
Im Running Away In My Thoughts
Wondering What We Could Have Been
Your Presence Still Lingers And Haunts

Tightly Closing My Eyes
I Can Still See Your Face
Reminded Of Your Sweet Smile
I Drift To A Happier Place

I Stare Into Your Eyes
As You Slowly Disappear
Again Saddness Consumes Me
Losing You Was My Only Fear

Slowly I Begin To Cry
Every Tear Is Just For You
And Every Now And Again
Its All That I Seem To Do

And Sometimes I Still Wish
That You Were Here With Me
To Steal Me From This Pain
And Save Me From My Misery
