Lived and Died in Pain

Well here I go,
Please knife, be kind,
My body is weak,
Keep that in mind,

My heart is numb,
And my core is bare,
My hands are shaking,
But I'm too afraid to care,

So this is it,
Please razor, pierce soft,
Be gentle with me,
A wrong vein could pop,

My skin is torn,
My fingers are blue,
Tears are quickly falling,
And stinging my wound,

This is my goodbye,
Please death, be swift,
And I give my last breath,
Of this life, so called "Gift"

I tried to tell everyone,
But I just couldn't get through,
So this heart lived with pain,
And then died with it too.

    this is a great poem!! i havntgotten to comment on a lot of the poems ive read but ive read a lot of yours and they are all very touching and full of feeling!! never stp writing u have a true tallent!! and sadly i can also relate to a lot that you write about so if u ever need anyone to talk to and u have aim jus im me my sn is happybunny251 which ha to be change ill fix it soon and if i do ill tell ya!! thanx again ur poems have helped me a lot believe it or not!! thanx again and never give up theres always at least one good thing at the end of every journey in life and some are jus harder to find then others!!

    very nice poem ... i read in school but eventually didn't have to comment on it over there ... i liked it a lot ... it was a bit short, but contained lots of meaningful feelings ... the last part was very touching ... i made my friend read it and she got tears in her eyes ... ur good at touching people's hearts :)
