Crimson tears

by Adam Murphy   Sep 20, 2004

Cut your wrist
let it bleed
along your arm
through your sleeve
dripping down
to the floor
decaying frown
broken core
a red reflection
in the blood
rippling with rejection
crimson flood
broken hearts
shattered dreams
useless smarts
voiceless screams
litter the path
of your fate
vengical wrath
firery gate
tired eyes
slowly close
before he dies
begins to dose
dreaming thoughts
all kinds of
visual draughts
on life and love
he sees her face
through it all
and remembers the place
with the trip and fall
broken bones
from the hit
casting stones
a soulless pit
left in pain
waiting to die
everything looks the same
with her blood in his eyes
and so it goes
the end is near
he finally sheds
a last tear
even though
hes now dying
his eyes closed
wrists crying
he smiles for her
and takes his last breth
because his heart is sure
it wants to join her in death.
