My Wall

by Aken Sol   Oct 8, 2004

I built a wall around me
To surround me like a womb
So I can be free
In my Prison

Can’t blame me though
Because it’s not just my doing
Just to let you know
It’s your fault too

It’s your stare
Of hate and fear
That lets me be aware
That I’m unwanted

Thrown upon me are
Needed materials you gave me
That can only go so far
And I use them to build

My wall
Unbreakable
Tall
Cold
