Bleed You Away

by Emily Strickland   Oct 10, 2004

It'd Be Cool If We Never Met
If We Had Never Even Locked Eyes
Then I'd Be So Happy Knowing
I Wouldnt Of Had To Hear The Lies

I Would Have Never Been Hurt
Inside I Wouldn't Be Broken
I Was Just A Part Of Your Game
In Which My Heart Was The Token

Everything Has Been Taken Away
All Except The Memories I've Kept
I Search For You At Night To Hold
But A Ghost Of You Is All I Have Left

It Can Not Be Easy To Forget You
When I Think Of You All The Time
I'll Never Know How I Miss You
When You Were Never Really Mine

I Guess I Fell To Hard For You
Blinded By All The Things You Said
I Used To Feel So Good Inside
Now I Find I Wish I Was Dead

Still The Way That You Smile
And All The Things You Say
Your Just So Great At Pretending
That Everything's Still Okay

Please Just Hate Me Now
So I Can Start To Move On
Help To Make It A Little Easier
To See That Your Really Gone

I Cant Take What You've Done
You Stole The Happiness In My Life
And All This Pain That's Been Caused
Cuts Inside Me Like A Knife

And In My Mind I Wonder
What You Would You Say
If I Told You I Wanted To Slit My Wrists
Just To Bleed You Away

Loved this poem..well expressed. I especially loved the line,
I Was Just A Part Of Your Game
In Which My Heart Was The Token
They really put the feeling down. Keep up the great work.
