So Much More

I have so much more,
more then the world can see,
If people would just take the time,
they would also agree.

I come to school,
with a smile on my face,
trying to hide my feelings,
that I wish would just erase.

It looks like I have a perfect life,
a supporting family around,
I have a good boyfriend,
and I'm college bound.

People have no idea,
how I feel,
they think I'm so happy,
someday my true feelings will reveal.

The truth is,
I'm a mess,
I'm so down on myself,
I have so much stress.

My parents control my life,
my best friend left me to dry,
I feel so lonely,
sometimes I want to die.

People judge me like a book,
that they don't explore,
someday people will realize,
theres so much more.
