Hiding in the darkness

Theres a girl somewhere
crying by herself
she always tries to stop
as she tries not to melt

the sadness she feels
is so painful inside
the hunger she has
is for the love that she hides

theres a boy out there
and the girl loves him so
and she cries every night
because he doesn't know

the girl is in love
his face in her dreams
his smile in her mind
but forget.. how can she??

the cruel words he said
in the dark of that night
underneath all the trees
underneath the moonlight

so she hides in the dark
with no one to believe
waiting for her prayers
to be answered.....by you
